| Association of Bengal Collaborators for Development (ABCD),
as a Finance Officer
|
v
Provide accounting support to the Deputy Director for developing required financial systems for the office.
v
Preparation of annual consolidated budget of the India Program, including review and finalization of ten implementing partners’ budget.
v
Allocating funds to Partners NGOs based on their individual monthly budget.
v
Monitoring Partner Budgets based on their monthly financial report.
v
Consolidation and finalization of regular monthly and quarterly financial reports and ensure that all reports are completed to the highest level of quality and submitted on time to Donors.
v
Make field visits to monitor & evaluation of accounts as well as activities at regular intervals.
v
Providing technical support and capacity building to the partners in the follow up of the financial requirement of the Donor and
better financial management.
v
Preparation and implementation of internal and external audits and reviews.
v
Providing support to co-ordinate with legal advisor concerning legal issues
v
Filing of tax returns for the liaison office on a timely basis and adherence to all applicable provisions of the Income tax Act, 1961.
v
Assist in development and appraisal of new projects and the preparation of new proposals as requested by the Director.
v
Handle day-to-day financial transactions, maintain books of accounts, and verify travel statements, process travel statements for disbursement as policies & guidelines.
v
Prepare staff salary statement, deduct and deposit the applicable taxes with the local authorities.
v
Prepare documentation for procurement of equipment.
v
Negotiation with commercial bank and preparation of BRS
v
Maintaining independently Computerised Accounts (Using Tally
9 & EXACT)
v
Maintaining staff provident fund and submission of returns (Profession tax, TDS, Annual Income Tax returns to respective authorities)
v
Conversant with Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act and report to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
