I am working in Wipro Technologies, Salt Lake as a consultant physiotherapist and ergonomist. I am basically employed with RECOUP which is a neuro musculoskeltal rehabilitation centre in Bangalore. We have on site RSI (repetitive strain injury) clinics in various IT companies like Wipro in cities Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata. We are specialized in treating computer related injury cases like thoracic outlet syndrome, myofascial pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome etc. We basically give them hands on physiotherapy treatment and ergonomic advice which is basically very useful for people working on the desktop/laptop and develop neck ,back pain or pain in arms, wrist etc. The kind of treatment is comparatively new and is not generally done and moreover very effective as shown by our research study.
